Proactively monitor production and UAT environments.
Create and maintain production run book which includes operational procedures as well as troubleshooting steps for known possible failures.
Trouble shoot failures and fix or work with developers to fix the issues.
Work with end users on issue reported.
Communicate with users and leadership on issues encountered, plans to fix the issues and timeframes to do so.
Track trends on issues and failures and report these trends to management.
Deploy approved changes to the production environment.
Provide feedback to the development team on operational issues and hardships.
Provide evidence and support for compliance audits.
Works along with team of Operations Engineers based in offshore and be the point of contact between client stake holders and TEK offshore operations team.
Technical Skills Description:
Strong data and integration skillsets
8-10 years of experience in managing day-to-day operations of complex systems involving application engineering, data engineering, and reporting tasks.
One year working within a cloud environment such as OCI (preferred) or AWS.
Adept at preparing run books and implementing them effectively.
Strong Analytical skills for troubleshooting production issues and working with the technical teams for bug fixes.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate closely with customers to troubleshoot issues, understand business needs, and propose solutions.
Nice to Have Skills:
Hands on experience with Oracle Integration (OIC), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle Fusion or Databricks.
This role can have “little or no OAC experience” and can be “light” on the technologies.
SQL Development: Utilize Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for complex data querying, scripting, and stored procedure development.
